Paxton and his family came into the studio this week to celebrate his first birthday with a cake smash session. I adore photographing babies and this session was fun! I started with some family poses and then I began photographing Paxton alone… we played with toys, sang songs, read a book, played peek-a-boo, etc. Once we completed those photos, we brought out the cake to smash. He was slow to get started and was more interested in the balloons but once he tasted the cake, he was hooked. He ate cake, destroyed the backdrop (LOL!!) and ended the session when he got cake on his foot… he wasn’t happy about that! LOL. Check out some of my favourite images from his one-year session below!
